Bruddah Wade Faildo

Wade Faildo aka “Bruddah Wade” has 23 years of experience in radio and the Hawaiian music industry.  When KINE 105.1 FM changed from an oldies format to Hawaiian music in 1992, Wade was hired as a board operator and producer for Uncle Sam Kapu for his morning show. This expanded to a weekend shift and later on Wade was assigned to be the on-air talent for the 7pm to midnight shift.  During his long career, Wade served as the Program Director from 1998 to 2002 and the Promotions Director from 2002 to 2015.  Aside from “Uncle” Sam Kapu, Wade has had the pleasure of working with some of Hawaii’s radio greats, including Kimo Kahoano, Brickwood Galuteria, Frank B. Shaner, Skylark Rossetti, Randy Hudnall, and Billy V.

Wade has a true passion for Hawaiian music, culture, and lifestyle.  He feels that Hawaiian Music is a vital part of our community, not only here in our island home, but internationally as well.  Wade wishes to play/share Hawaiian Music with the world in order to help keep the culture alive.  He programs Hawaiian Music Live! with heart, passion, compassion and ALOHA.
