Honolulu Professionals Foundation's Party 4 A Purpose!

Please join us for an amazing evening of great food, live entertainment, drinks, a silent auction and raffle, and more!
We will be supporting two important local organizations - Kids Hurt Too Hawaii (KHTH) and the Hawai'i Academy of Recording Arts (HARA).

KHTH is the only program in the state that exists to exclusively provide support to grieving and traumatized children who have lost one or both parent(s). Children are referred after losing a parent through death, divorce, domestic violence, incarceration, deployment or placement in foster care. There is nothing more devastating to a child than the loss of a parent. The program understands the needs of these children. In addition to the group meetings KHTH pr...ovides Hawaiian based cultural activities on the weekends such as Surf for the Soul, Poi for the Soul, Seeds of Love, and ukulele lessons. Over 3500 children have participated in KHTH’s programs since 2001.More information about KHTH can be found at http://kidshurttoo.org/.

HARA is a 501(c)(3), Hawaiʻi-based nonprofit organization established in 1981 to preserve, protect, promote, foster and advance Hawaii’s recording industry and the music of Hawaiʻi. HARA’s activities foster a positive image of Hawaiʻi with a particular focus on its music and video markets, providing opportunities for recording artists and musicians to help grow the industry. HARA holds quarterly educational workshops open to students of all ages and in addition, in partnership with Tropical Music, administers an annual scholarship fund, awarding two scholarships to students attending a Hawaiʻischool pursing studies in music and/or Hawaiian poetry. More information about HARA can be found at www.nahokuhanohano.org.
